From Beans to Blessings: How Selling Coffee Bands Can Make a Difference in a Farmer's Life

Who would have thought buying a wristband, could lead to helping a #coffee #farmer Mr. Opanglemba in a remote part of Nagaland in Kensa.

Yes there are a few lesser known (shocking things).

First yes, Nagaland Grows Coffee ( in fact in my opinion potentially some good coffee). Yes the wristband has to do something with coffee but in a very innovative way. @iamnotabaristawristbands from @iamnotbarista was initiated with the goal to help people in Coffee around the world, and we at @zura were super happy and beyond humbled to be partnering with them for India.

We sold some wristbands in India which our founder @neeraj said would be a good idea, and then our Co founders @drkriti and @baristaonbike got on board. Our mission with these wristbands were very simple, try not to profit, but raise as much money as possible to help someone.

We saw some other countries who did some great work and Micky @Iamnotbarista kept pushing to do something innovative.

@baristaonbike (Binny) visited Nagaland with the help of Atsi and discovered some amazing people in coffee, finally we locked on trying to help this one farm in the remote area of Khensa, in Mokukchung. As we thought of ways to help, we discovered @mikkonnen and our good friend @sahana helped us get our hands on the two products we thought would be the most beneficial. 1 Pulper and 1. Huller *( both manual).

By selling xx wristbands, we raised xx money, and with some love and discount from @sahana we were able to procure the same and have it shipped to our partner Mr. Opanglemba.

Finally last week our cofounder @baristaonbike was able to visit them in person and thank Mr. Opanglemba, for the opportunity to let us help him

And we wanted to thank EACH ONE OF YOU who purchased @iamnot Bands because You made it Possible

Sharing some pics form the recent visit.
