Since childhood, service industry always fascinated me, especially working in the kitchen. Started my journey from being a cook to later studying management in Switzerland and finally working as a trainer in the Food & Beverage sector, in Europe, US, Middle East and Eastern Europe. Finally starting my coffee journey 8 years later by working for a Coffee Shop chain. That lead me to taking a Solo Motorcycle journey through India and Nepal and making me fall in love with Coffee. Post the all India trip, the curiosity towards coffee lead to me learn and start a Barista School, as I couldn't find a place in India that shared coffee knowledge.
Later joined a Coffee equipment selling company as their head for Training & Development and also Consulting for cafes. Having opened more than 30 cafes, what you truly understand is more about "what not to do " than "what to do". Coffee got me closer to the plantations and started working with Producers and now after being a Certified Q Processor by CQI, I consult Coffee farmers during the harvest period. During the non-harvest period I take up projects surround cafe, coffee roasting, brewing, training etc.
I am also a happy Co-Founder of Zura , along with Neeraj and Kriti. One of our products is 'Mgic Potion' , a mineral water concentrate " that helps to make your coffee taste yummier
