Coffee enthusiast, who loves to travel (preferably on motorcycles).

The entire idea of consultation is that you should not need me ( once the base work is done) probably a bad business model. But that’s exactly my intent, I want to spread the knowledge in such a way that clients learn about the subject and should be able to eventually work on their own. Retainer-ship model is only to consistently maintain quality and for continuous development & innovation.

Was introduced to Binny while talking to a few people I know in the international Coffee Circle. With a kiosk space on a prominent street in the Nilgiris, the idea was to build a product that would not only suit the visitors of the hill station but engage the tastebuds of the Local community we grew up and share a close bond with. 

 

No matter the size of the project Binny came on board ready after understanding the challenge, Binny patiently guided the process in simple terms where we could engage with an Architect to establish a plan that used the most available space without hurting existing neighbours. 

 

Though the project faced multiple delays and challenges while we put it together Binny was extremely professional and adapted to any changes that occurred in the most sporting spirits. He ensured he blended into the family learning how best he could establish a product line we were so keen on. 

 

He then laid the negotiable and the non negotiable aspects of the business personally training the workforce and building confidence into the team to perfect what we were known for. Though the project was far from complete, it was Binny who inculcated a work style and ethic that will build the identity of Number 10 Coffee Club

When I was setting up my cafe in Bangalore and needed a coffee consultant, I was very wary because of my past experiences with consultants for my previous hospitality projects. We took Binny’s help with curating LastHouse Coffee’s mission and menu. From the beginning, Binny was most excited about our plans and has been extremely supportive even though this was a first-of -it’s kind mission and most definitely an experiment. He has immense knowledge about the industry and the people associated with the industry and this made it very easy for us to build our identity. He curated the coffee menu with utmost care and responsibility/ trained our baristas to understand everything from crop to cup; and our coffeeshop has since been thriving. He is also now helping us with our farm - Sunrise estate’s processing and has already imparted a great amount of  information needed for us to get started.
